How F1 Fantasy points are scored
This page shows the full fantasy points breakdown for every driver and constructor, race by race. Select a round to see how each pick scored across qualifying, sprint (on sprint weekends), and race sessions, broken down component by component instead of a single final total.
Each session scores position points, with positions gained or lost, overtakes, a fastest lap bonus, and Driver of the Day bonuses layered on top. A DNF or disqualification subtracts points instead of adding them. Constructors score the combined total of both their drivers, plus a Teamwork bonus when both cars make Q3 and bonuses for pit stop speed.
Use the breakdown to tell a consistent scorer from a one-off spike — a driver who banks points every weekend from position and overtakes is a safer pick than one who scored big once on fastest lap or Driver of the Day. Before buying a driver or constructor, check where their points actually came from, not just the total.
- How many points does a race win score in F1 Fantasy?
- Race position and qualifying position each score on a sliding scale, with P1 earning the most points in both sessions — plus bonuses for positions gained, overtakes, fastest lap, and Driver of the Day on top. Toolverse doesn't hardcode these values; check the Scoring Legend on each race card for the exact point totals used that weekend.
- How do constructors score points?
- A constructor's fantasy score is the combined points of both its drivers — position, positions gained, overtakes, fastest lap, and Driver of the Day pooled together — plus constructor-only bonuses: a Teamwork bonus when both cars reach Q3, and bonuses for pit stop speed. A strong qualifying or race from either driver lifts the whole constructor's total.
- What happens to fantasy points on a DNF or DQ?
- A Did Not Finish subtracts points from that session instead of adding them, and a disqualification costs more than a DNF since it wipes out the result entirely. These penalties apply per driver, so one bad result doesn't just cost that driver — it also drags down their constructor's combined total for the weekend.
- Do sprint weekends score differently?
- Yes. Sprint weekends add an extra sprint session alongside qualifying and the race, and Fantasy Points breaks it out separately so you can see exactly what the sprint contributed. Sprint scoring uses lower point values than the main race, which is why a strong sprint alone rarely matches a good race result.
