Pie Chart Maker
Paste a list of labels and values to build a pie chart showing each part's share of the whole. Percentages are calculated automatically.
How it works
A pie chart divides a circle into slices whose angles are proportional to their values, making it easy to see how a set of parts adds up to a whole. Paste one row per slice with a label in the first column and a number in the second; the calculator sizes each slice and works out its percentage of the total for the tooltip and labels.
The chart is coloured from a distinct palette so adjacent slices are easy to tell apart, and it adapts to light and dark themes. Pie charts work best with a handful of categories — if you have many small values, consider grouping them into an “Other” slice. Screenshot the finished chart to reuse it.
Examples
- Chrome,63 / Safari,20 / Edge,5 draws a browser-share pie.
- Percentages are computed from the values automatically.
- Keep to a handful of slices for readability.
Frequently asked questions
- What data format does it accept?
- One row per slice: a label in the first column and a numeric value in the second, separated by a comma, tab or space.
- Are percentages calculated for me?
- Yes. Each slice's percentage of the total is computed automatically and shown in the tooltip.
- How many slices should I use?
- Pie charts are clearest with a small number of categories. Group very small values into an “Other” slice to avoid clutter.
- Is my data private?
- Yes. Everything runs in your browser and your data never leaves your device.
